Servicecentrum Studie & Beroep

The Service centre is intended for all (future) students of ROC West Brabant. The centre  helps students choose the course of study most suitable for them. Staff in feeder schools charged with a referral task are also welcome, as well as care coordinators, career guidance staff, mentors and education/training teams.

The Servicecentrum Studie & Beroep assists in guiding students to the course of study most suitable for them (individual service), in order to prevent early drop-out. Students may be referred to the Service centre for the following purposes:

•          Advice (vocational interests, counselling)

•          Specialist courses (general study skills, social communication skills, coping with dyslexia problems, amelioration of fear of failure or assertiveness (resilience etc.)

•          Tests (for instance, in relation to intelligence, personality and assertiveness/fear of failure)

Expertise

The team is small, skilled and ready to act. It can call on high-quality test material, and closely monitors all new developments. The Service centre endeavours to respond to these as much as is possible, and also adapts the range of services to new developments.  The services are offered and accounted for in a transparent fashion. Integrity is paramount.
