Life in Breda is wonderful: SV Bliz

Bliz, which means ‘Breda’s leven is zalig’ (Dutch for living in breda is wonderful) was founded in 2004. And what started as a simple FBTR school project, turned out to be one of the wildest student associations of Breda. At first this association was only for FBTR students, but nowadays everybody can join Bliz.

The founders of Bliz have graduated by now, but their spirit still lives on in the present members of Bliz. Bliz was founded in 2004, so it is the youngest and smallest association of Breda. Some people look at this as a downside, but we actually think it is an advantage, because we are a very close group of friends. However, this does not mean that we don’t allow new people into our group. Everyone is treated in the same way and with the same respect as the other members of Bliz.

Bliz organises a lot of parties and activities in its favourite bar with different themes. Bliz also organises a pub crawl, calling in at a variety of bars. All these events are open to everyone, so you can bring along your friends or even your family members and lecturers. We also arrange activities for members only, such as dinners, house parties and trips to the karting centre or an amusement park. Bliz has a relaxation room at NHTV where you can chill out after boring or long classes. The room is located at the H building in room H2.006, so feel free to come in or visit our website.
