Anything goes, nothing is a must: Geno(o)tschap D’n Straffe Hendrik

Pleasant hours fly fast, no obligations, just enjoy yourself, infected with the ‘green bug’. Just some phrases that characterise Geno(o)tschap D’n Straffe Hendrik. Are you interested in getting to know new people in a nice, friendly and non-committal way? Then Straffe is the choice for you! Straffe Hendrik has been one of the largest, most controversial and versatile student associations of NHTV and Breda of the past few years.

Hazing? Not with us! We don’t have any initiation or hazing rituals, because there are better ways to get to know each other. Therefore, we organise several parties, the biggest pub crawls in Breda, a gala, a weekend away, the NHTV sports tournament and much more. Every Monday we meet in our favourite bar for a drink or two and a nice chat with other members and visitors, because everyone is welcome at the Straffe events.

Apart from having good times, smashing parties and expanding your network, you can join a committee. A fun and meaningful way to earn credits towards completion of your free electives or to develop competencies. We don’t have fraternities or sororities, because we don’t believe in groups within a group. It is possible, however, to set up a year club with your classmates.
