It's good to have Blendin

Here you are then. In this chilly small country of ours, where it often rains and stew is a regular menu item. Where people celebrate the Feast of St Nicholas and the Queen's Birthday and where you are given no more than one biscuit with your cup of coffee. Foreign students are in for a minor cultural shock when temporarily residing in the Netherlands. Avans University of Applied Sciences fully understands that. To ensure you will soon feel more at home, meet other students – many of them in the same boat as you – and to simply undertake fun activities, Blendin was formed.

Blendin is a group of Dutch Avans students who organise events for all foreign students on a quarterly basis. Whether you are here to complete a four-year study programme or stay with us as an exchange student for just a few months, you are more than welcome to participate in the Blendin activities programme.
