19 OctBress: Food, sports, quizzes and championships

Bress, known as a ‘student gym’ which is not expensive and has a great number of different types of sports. But it is even  getting better and better. From now on, Bress also provides lunch and dinner, and they asked Insight to try out their meals. Bress also organizes various activities, for instances the Jupiler pub quiz.

On Thursday the 22nd of September Bress invited Insight to come dine and give our opinion. In the canteen of Bress nice table was waiting for us, and Insight was welcomed with open arms. Today’s menu consisted of tomato soup, a dinner salad with fresh salmon and crayfish and a delicious pasta with ham, bacon, salami and tomato sauce.

Bress serves soups, salads and day meals from Monday till Thursday. Furthermore you can daily order fresh sandwiches at lunchtime. The price-quality ratio is like we are used from Bress: a lot for less money. Insight went off table with a well-filled belly. The vibe was good, the staff was friendly and the food was great. It was a pleasant evening, and Insight will soon again be found in Bress’ canteen to eat there again!

Just to go on about pleasant evenings, Bress has more to offer! Write down the 12th of October in your agenda, because then it’s time for the first edition of the Bress Jupiler pub quiz! The canteen of Bress will be all-in the spirit of beer and conviviality, where teams compete against each other in a quiz about soccer, pop music, movies and more from 20:00 to 23:00 hours. Teams must consist of 4 to 6 people and participation is free. The quiz will be presented in both Dutch and English. Also, there will be a special action this evening: a pitcher of 1,5 liters of beer for only €10,-!
